Athens Food Tour With your local guide you will walk around the food shopping area of Athens, seeing how Athenian people shop and meeting small, specialized business owners, tasting a variety of Greek produce and learning how to identify the best and freshest produce.See the meat, fish and fruit markets and sample delicious seasonal fruits from the farmer. After this introduction to the markets and food culture of Greece, you will then have the opportunity to shop and look for food yourselves.  You will be assigned some local specialities, and using your communication skills and imagination, you will experience first-hand the fun of wandering through the stalls and becoming a local! Later you will all share your treasures with the other participants! The cost will be around 8 eur for the food walk (expenses only for the food that the guide will buy) and another 5 eur for the market challenge (when they shop on their own). All food will be shared.
