About SIFCA

Celebrating Five Years of Creativity

The Saronikos International Festival of Creative Arts — SIFCA — returns 18th till 26th September 2026 for its fifth and most ambitious edition yet.

What began as a celebration of the many creative and technical disciplines that bring film, television and the arts to life has grown into an international meeting place for artists, filmmakers, performers, writers, craftspeople, educators and creative communities.

This year, SIFCA will be bigger and better than ever, with an expanded programme of practical workshops, talks, performances, exhibitions, screenings, cultural experiences and social events taking place across the beautiful Athens Riviera.

From traditional arts and live performance to filmmaking and the latest developments in artificial intelligence, SIFCA brings people together to share skills, exchange ideas and explore the future of creativity.

Because the arts speak all languages.

Follow SIFCA on social media to receive the latest programme announcements and be among the first to reserve your place.

Who

SIFCA is presented by the Association Friends of the Creative Arts of Saronikos, working from the SIFCA Art Centre in Saronida.

The Festival was originally established through the 529 Club, an international creative-industry network founded at Pinewood Studios in the UK in December 2009.

What began as a monthly gathering for people working across film and media has developed into a global community of more than 10,000 members representing every department of the entertainment industry.

For its fifth anniversary, SIFCA is working with international industry professionals, local artists, educators, volunteers and community organisations, including the Women’s International Group South — WIGS, Young Volunteers in Action and local performing arts school Let’s st-art!

Together, we are creating a welcoming festival where established professionals, emerging talent and members of the community can meet, learn, collaborate and celebrate the arts.

We are one big creative family — and everyone is welcome.

SIFCA Celebrating The Arts

Why

There are many film and arts festivals around the world, but SIFCA celebrates the complete creative process — and all the people who make it possible.

Alongside producers, directors, actors and writers, we shine a spotlight on the artists, craftspeople and technical professionals working across camera, sound, production, art, costume, hair and make-up, special effects, visual effects, editing, music, marketing and emerging technology.

SIFCA is not simply a place to watch creativity. It is a place to experience it.

Our workshops give participants opportunities to learn directly from working professionals, develop practical skills and better understand the many different careers available throughout the creative industries.

We also believe that creativity can connect communities, support wellbeing, preserve cultural heritage and encourage meaningful international collaboration.

At SIFCA, every creative contribution matters.
